Going Green Project

        Mahasarakham University is a green University in ranking of UI Green Metric Ranking of World Universities 2011. In Thailand Mahasarakham University is the number 4 but for every University around the world are number 126.
         Since 2010, lots of thing in Mahasarakham are changed. Everyone saw everything changed since Mahasarakham has Going green project. The first thing is the traffic system: students who rode a motorcycle have to wear helmet. Moreover every intersection has traffic light. This is the reason that decreased about traffic jam and accidents in University. The second thing is plant trees. We saw staff of University plant trees every day and they also take care of the gardens too. Then it made University has lots of green area and decreased about air pollution. The last thing is tram. It is free for students and everyone who come to Mahasarakham University. This tram use gas, so it doesn't make air pollution and it decreased the problem about traffic jam either.
        These are the reason that Mahasarakham University got the prize about Green University. This project is useful for everyone in University and we saw from the number of accidents decreased, lots of green area and the tram which is good to the nature and free for students. Moreover Mahasarakham University still improves the system in university and keeps this project for the future.
